We study eco-evolutionary dynamics in changing, spatially structured environments.

Some of the questions of interest:
  • What determines the limits to adaptation?
  • How does genetic variability, and genetic architecture, evolve in variable environments?
  • When does joint spatial and temporal variation facilitate speciation?
To tackle these questions, we employ a combination of analytical and numerical methods, complemented by computer simulations. Our theoretical framework integrates population genetics with ecological population dynamics.
